At OKAuto, we strive to deliver a smooth and transparent rental experience for both renters and vehicle owners. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued and the process involved.
1. Cancellation by Renter

Before Reservation Start:
Renters may cancel their reservation through their dashboard before the rental start time. If the reservation is eligible for a refund, the amount refunded will be equal to the amount paid after applying any discounts or coupon codes. -
Coupon Usage:
If a coupon was applied during booking, the refunded amount will reflect the final amount paid, not the full price before the discount. -
Cancellation Reason:
Renters are required to provide a reason when canceling. This helps vendors and OKAuto improve service quality. -
Refund Method:
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.
2. Cancellation by Vendor

If a vendor cancels a confirmed reservation, the renter will receive a full refund, including any coupon-applied amount.

OKAuto reserves the right to take appropriate action on repeated or unjustified cancellations by vendors.
3. No-Shows & Late Cancellations

Refunds will not be issued for no-shows or cancellations made after the rental period has already started, unless otherwise approved by OKAuto under exceptional circumstances.
4. Modifications to Bookings

If a renter edits a booking (e.g., extends rental duration), any additional charges will be calculated and applied based on the platform’s standard pricing logic.

If shortening a booking, refund eligibility depends on the remaining time before the new start date and is subject to platform approval.
5. Refunds After Payment Errors or System Issues

In the event of technical or billing errors (e.g., duplicate payments or incorrect charge calculations), OKAuto will investigate and process refunds as needed.

Supporting documentation or screenshots may be requested to resolve the issue accurately.
6. Offline Withdrawals (Vendors)

Vendors requesting offline withdrawals (cash or bank transfer) must ensure their earnings are final and not under dispute or pending refunds.

OKAuto reserves the right to withhold payouts temporarily if a related booking is under cancellation review or refund processing.
7. Refund Confirmation

Renters will receive an email and/or SMS notification confirming the amount and status of the refund.

Refunds may also be tracked via the renter’s account in the booking history section.
